2023 Black & Gold Scholarship Ball

Each year the GZL Educational Foundation and the Tampa Alphas host an annual gala in the Tampa Bay area appropriately titled the Black and Gold Scholarship Ball. Join the GZL Educational Foundation and the Tampa Alphas as we celebrate the power that mentorship and education has on the legacy of the youth of Tampa Bay area on Saturday, December 2, 2023, 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM at Hilton Tampa Downtown, Tampa, FL 33602.
The Black and Gold Scholarship Ball culminates a year of fundraising activities by the foundation and showcases the talents and accomplishments of the young men who have participated in the Men of Tomorrow Mentoring Program. The Golden Renaissance: A Celebration of Excellence, the theme of this year’s Black and Gold Scholarship ball, will recognize the impact of the Men of Tomorrow Mentorship Program through the efforts of the GZL Educational Foundation and the Tampa Alphas.
To date, the GZL Educational Foundation has provided more than $160,000 in scholarships to high school seniors that have matriculated through their Men of Tomorrow mentorship program. The graduating seniors from this program compete for scholarships through a combination of academic performance, extracurricular activities, essay-writing and overall contribution to the program.
This year’s ticket price includes entertainment and food. Professional photos will be available for purchase as well as 360-degree camera videos experience. The Black and Gold Scholarship Ball is the Tampa Alphas and GZL Educational Foundation’s biggest fund-raising event of the year. Please come out and show your support for these well deserving young men.
